As a student, Barnaby performed with the Royal Ballet in productions of Anastasia, Manon, La Bayadère, Cinderella, The Nutcracker and The Sleeping Beauty. He also appeared in the annual school performances at The Royal Opera House, and toured in Germany with the school during his graduation year.
Upon graduation, Barnaby joined the Dutch National Ballet where he appeared in productions of Swan Lake, Cinderella, Petrushka, Carmen, La Sylphide, La Bayadère and The Nutcracker, as well as numerous works by choreographers including Forsythe, Robbins and Balanchine.
Theatre credits include: The Guy in Kes (Sheffield Crucible), Older Billy in Billy Elliot (Victoria Palace Theatre), Young Pip in Great Expectations (Leeds Grand Theatre) and Gypsy (West Yorkshire Playhouse).
Television credits include: Circle Of Deceit (YTV), Heartbeat (YTV), Smokescreen (BBC), Number Six (“Chiller” series, BBC).
Galas: Closing and Re-opening of The Royal Opera House; Sir Anthony Dowell – A Knight at the Ballet (ROH); Dame Ninette De Valois’ 100th Birthday (ROH); HRH Prince Philip’s 80th Birthday at Windsor Castle; One Night Only charity gala (Bradford Alhambra, London Palladium).
Barnaby was part of the 10th Anniversary cast of Billy Elliot the Musical and appeared in Billy Live, broadcast to cinemas worldwide.
