In spring 2016, Sally re-launched Old Vic Productions Plc (OVP), renaming it Greene Light Stage (GLS). Created by Sally Greene in 1993, and run by Sally and executive producer Joseph Smith, OVP has become one of the leading production and investment companies in the UK. OVP has co-produced or partnered in more than 100 productions in the West End and on Broadway. These include The Mentalists, Good People, The Pajama Game, Private Lives, Passion Play, Noises Off (West End and UK Tour), Sweeney Todd (3 Olivier Awards including Best Musical Revival and Evening Standard Award for Best Musical), the multi Olivier Award-winning Jerusalem, Clybourne Park, Three Days of Rain and Swimming with Sharks.
As Old Vic Productions, the company produced in association with The Old Vic Theatre Company during the Artistic Directorship of Kevin Spacey. Productions included High Society, Clarence Darrow, Electra, The Crucible, Sweet Bird of Youth, The Winslow Boy, Hedda Gabler, The Duchess of Malfi, Inherit the Wind and Speed-the-Plow.
In summer 2016, Greene Light Stage opened The Go-Between starring Michael Crawford. The company has begun a new venture with Elton John called Rocket Stage with the aim of developing new musical theatre projects.
Sally is the chief executive of The Criterion Theatre and Greene Light Films and the proprietor of the renowned Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club and Cheyne Walk Brasserie in Chelsea.
