Voting is now open for the BBC Radio 2 Olivier Audience Award, and we need your help to secure a place for Billy on the shortlist! The award was launched by Barbara Windsor on BBC Radio 2 on Sunday afternoon, and you can listen online for the next week. The award gives the theatre-going public the chance to crown their favourite long-running London show, and voting is conducted through the official Olivier Awards website.

After a great response from dedicated Billy fans across the globe last year, we were delighted to make the shortlist of the four best-loved shows in London, and we would love to do even better in 2012. First-round voting closes on 4 March, when the four shortlisted shows will be announced. The second round of voting will then commence on 11 March, when the four nominees go head-to-head to be named West End audiences’ favourite show of 2012.

So don’t delay, don’t put it off – there’s no time to lose! Vote for the Great British Musical in 2012, and show your ‘solidarity’ with Billy Elliot!
