We are delighted to announce some new additions to the Billy Elliot family! Kaine Ward (pictured) will be the twenty-eighth West End Billy and the 62nd boy to play the role worldwide. He will be joined by Macy Stasiak (Debbie), Gillian Bevan (Mrs Wilkinson), Deka Walmsley (Dad), Michael Peavoy (Tony), Sean Kearns (George) and Simon Ray Harvey (Mr Braithwaite), all of whom will be joining the cast from November. We are also delighted to welcome back Ann Emery, the original Grandma of the show, who played the role at the Victoria Palace from 2005 until 2010.
After a nerve-wracking five-month audition process, 12-year old Kaine from Hertfordshire is thrilled to be starting in the role. He has been dancing since the age of two, cutting his teeth on classic musicals such as Annie and Bugsy Malone, and has always known that he wanted to be on the stage. A real-life Billy, one might say! As a huge fan of 80s music, 9-year old Macy Stasiak from Darlington is also ecstatic to be taking on the part of Debbie. After taking part in the Billy Youth Theatre as a ballet girl, it was a dream come true for Macy to get the role in the West End, and she is ready and raring to go!
