Josh Baker - Billy

Hi, my name is Josh and I am 13 years old. I live in the historic town of Rochester with my mum, dad and little brother Max. I started acting when I was five years old when I appeared in Holby City and A Complete Guide to Parenting with Peter Davison. I started dancing at the age of seven, learning ballet, tap and jazz at Brooke's Academy of Dance. When I was nine I joined Italia Conti Associate School and last year I joined Stage Theatre Society (STS).

After many months of auditions in London I was over the moon when I found out I would be playing the role of Billy in the West End. The training has been very hard but at the same time very enjoyable and I love being part of such a great musical!

I would like to thank all my family for supporting me and all my teachers; especially Nick, Damian, Lee, Chris, Nikki and Danny. I would like to dedicate my first performance to everyone I have thanked and all my great mates at Italia Conti and STS.
