Macy Stasiak - Debbie

Hi I’m Macy, I’m 10 years old and I live in Darlington in the North-East with my mum Naomi and step-dad Neil.

I went to the Debbie auditions because I’ve wanted to be in Billy Elliot the Musical for two years, and in 2010 I was in Billy Youth Theatre as a ballet girl. I could not believe it when I got the part of Debbie, I’m so excited, it’s a dream come true!

Back home I go to Stagecoach every week, it’s my favourite hobby, I also love dancing, listening to 80s music, shopping and being with my best friends Ellie and Hannah-Lucy.

I would like to thank my family for helping me with my drama and supporting me in everything I do. I also want to thank all my Stagecoach teachers, especially Trudy, for offering me the chance to do BYT, which has given me the confidence I have now.

Big, huge thanks to the entire Billy Elliot team for giving me the opportunity to live my dream of being on the stage.
