Kay Milbourne - Dead Mum/Ensemble

Kay is delighted to be making her West End debut in Billy Elliot. Born in Hexham in Northumberland, Kay was brought up in the mining town of Prudhoe where both of her grandfathers worked ‘down the pit’. She moved to London in 2005 to train at the London School of Musical Theatre.

Theatre credits include:

Creating the role of Toni in the world stage premiere of The Young Ones (Upstairs at the Gatehouse); two wonderful Christmas seasons in Norfolk as Swing for the Thursford Christmas Spectacular; and Sylvie in Oklahoma! (Catford Broadway Theatre).

Other credits include:

Supporting the legend that is Sir Elton John with the band The Monroes in Carlisle and was a member of the backing choir in four episodes of the ITV series Popstar to Operastar.

Kay would like to thank her mam, dad and partner Richard along with her family and friends for their continued love and support.
